The Lamb plot. Gerald is a failure of wealthy descent and he also loses his Mary's love to Bill, a big guy from Arizona. Mary and Bill head west to visit friends, but they are followed by Gerald. During the train journey, Gerald gets out to buy jewelry and is kidnapped by Yaqui Indians. Mary is also kidnapped and both end up as hostages in Mexico.
